Directly following the service on Sunday, March 31 we will have a church-wide potluck at the Odyssey School (rain or shine). Bar-B-Cue and a vegetarian entrée will be provided by City Church, as well as lemonade and water. We ask that the congregation contribute side items of their choosing. Limited refrigeration will be available. Please bring an item that will hold through the service. This is a great opportunity to invite friends, family, and co-workers to our service. For more information, please contact John Hopple (firstname.lastname@example.org).
In addition to our morning service, we’ll host a very special afternoon service of celebration as we become our own self-supporting congregation. Please make plans to attend both services on this noteworthy day.
Please join us for a fun afternoon and early evening at Camp Greystone near Flat Rock, NC (80 Apple Hill Lane, Zirconia, NC 28790). Come as early as 1:00 PM and stay until after dark (S’mores!). There’s a shelter and plenty of play space so the party will happen rain or shine. [Note: no lifeguards will be on duty.]
We’ll provide water, lemonade, and beverage cups, but please BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC DINNER. We’ll eat around 5:30 PM.

TWO NEW CITY GROUPS BEGIN TUESDAY, AUGUST 1
City Groups are born out of the belief that transformation takes place as we journey together in God’s story. Small groups provide a place of connection with other people as we meet weekly in homes across the city, providing a place to build relationships, share life together, and serve one another and the city. If you’re interested in taking part in a City Group, two new ones are starting on Tuesday, August 1 with a one month open enrollment period. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
